Kellye Jackson

Greetings! My name is Kellye Jackson and I am the Lead Counselor at Wagner High School.  I am a native Texan, born in Houston and I moved to San Antonio at the age of 5. I am pleased to call San Antonio my home. I graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School and I began my higher education course work at Prairie View A&M University.  After two years at PVAMU, my husband was commissioned into the US Army and I  transferred to Columbus College in Columbus, Georgia and earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education English grades 6-12.  After returning to Texas and teaching for seven years, I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio. 

I am currently in my 29th year of education.  I spent 7 years as a 7^th grade English teacher at Kirby Middle School and Woodlake Hills Middle School.  August 2023 began my 22nd year as a high school counselor.  I have worked as a counselor at Judson Gray campus, Judson Red campus, and currently I am counseling in the greatest district on earth, at the greatest school in the district, Wagner High School.
