DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
With nearly a 70-year history, DECA has impacted the lives of more than ten million students, educators, school administrators and business professionals since it was founded in 1946. DECA’s programs and activities have constantly evolved as we use the latest technology and apply cutting edge educational research. September 17-18, 2019—Statewide Teacher Training (tentative-will be discussed further at the upcoming board meeting)
October 9, 2019—District 2 Fall Leadership Development Conference at Incredible Pizza
December 2-13, 2019—District 2 CDC Registration window
December 13, 2019—Deadline for: registration, proctor info, officer & scholarship applications
January 7, 2020—District 2 CDC online submissions deadline
January 8-9, 2020—District 2 CDC online testing window
Jan 15, 2020—Mandatory District 2 CDC set-up & penalty points (PM hours)
January 16, 2020—District 2 CDC at Schertz Civic Center
February 4-6, 2020—State CDC online testing window
February 7, 2020—State CDC online submissions deadline
February 20-22, 2020—State CDC in Ft. Worth, TX (hotel: Sheraton Hotel / conference: Ft. Worth Convention Center)
April 29-May 2, 2020—DECA International CDC in Nashville, TN
